Golden Rule Peace Boat to Visit Bodega Bay / Santa Rosa
The historic Golden Rule anti-nuclear peace boat will visit Bodega Bay, June 15-18, and hold a series of events on the water and in Santa Rosa. A national project of Veterans For Peace, the Golden Rule is sailing throughout California to support the UN talks for a Treaty to Ban Nuclear Weapons.

Starting off the visit, local kayakers will meet the 34-foot ketch as she arrives into Bodega Bay on Thursday afternoon, June 15, at 4 pm.

“We are once again on the brink of nuclear war,” says Gerry Condon of Veterans For Peace. “It is time for all the peoples of the world to insist on peaceful relations based on mutual respect.”

Kayakers and other boaters will greet the arrival of the Golden Rule peace boat.
Thursday June 15, 3pm to 5pm
Launch at the Coast Guard Station, 355 Doran Beach Road, Bodega Bay. Use VHF channel 22.

Hear Norman Solomon and the Golden Rule Crew
Nationally-known author and activist Norman Solomon will speak on Challenging the Warfare State in 2017. Learn the Golden Rule history and what we can do to stop nuclear war before it starts. No Host Bar and Snacks, 6 pm. Speakers at 7 pm. Suggested donation .
