PEARL HARBOR (Sept. 7, 2012)—Landon Touchart, 13, along with Sailors and their family members man the rails during a tiger cruise aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) as it leaves Pearl Harbor en route to San Diego Sept. 7 as part of Pacific Partnership 2012. Mercy is holding a tiger cruise to give family members and friends a chance to see their family members in their work environments aboard the ship. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission U.S. military, host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international agencies designed to build stronger relationships and disaster response in the Asia-Pacific region.
